Maqsud Dean
Maqsud Dean, MS, PA-C, has 20 years of experience in family practice, urgent care, cardiology, hospital medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, weight loss, and public health/indigent care. Maqsud is also a certified CrossFit Trainer. He earned his Bachelor of Science in human biology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He then earned his Master of Science in exercise physiology and cardiopulmonary pathophysiology, also at the same university. Afterward, he attended the UC Davis School of Medicine and became nationally certified through the physician assistant program.
Maqsud was a formal faculty member at the UC Davis School of Medicine FNP/PA Program and won Teacher of the Year in 2003. He also won the Faculty Development Award at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Maqsud has traveled with the International Medical Corps to Kashmir, Pakistan, to provide earthquake relief and aid.
