The following employee benefits are available to employees who work an average of 30 hours per week.

Benefits Enrollment:
New employees are eligible for benefits on the 61st day of employment and active the following 1st of the month. Benefit elections will remain in effect until the end of the calendar year. With the exception of qualifying events, open enrollment is the only time benefit changes may be made. Qualifying events include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Changes in marital status: marriage, death of a spouse, divorce, legal separation, or annulment;
- Changes in number of dependents;
- Change in employment status;
- Dependent’s fulfillment or nonfulfillment of eligibility requirements;
Enrollment changes must be completed within thirty (30) days of event date. Documents are required to verify your change in status. Failure to request a change in status within thirty (30) days of the qualifying event will result in you having to wait until the next open enrollment period to make your change; this includes enrollment of a newborn child. Please notify Human Resources of a qualifying event at your earliest opportunity.
*Dependents are covered until the age of twenty-six (26) for Anthem Blue Cross benefit plans.

Fulltime employees are eligible for fourteen (14) paid holidays:

Vacation Accrual:
CICC employees accrue vacation leave from date of employment, however, paid vacation leave cannot be used during the initial ninety (90) day probationary period. When a recognized holiday occurs during annual leave, the holiday is not considered vacation leave. Vacation leave may not be used until after it has been accrued. Vacation leave accrual will cap at two-hundred (200) hours. Vacation accrual is prorated for part-time employees.
- 1-3 years of service: 13.00 Days – 4 hours per pay period (26 per year)
- 4-10 years of service: 16.25 Days – 5 hours per pay period (26 per year)
- 10+ years of service: 19.50 Days – 6 hours per pay period (26 per year)
Sick Leave Eligibility:
CICC employees accrue sick leave from date of employment, however, paid sick leave cannot be used during the initial ninety (90) day probationary period. Sick leave may be taken due to the employee’s illness, disability, or quarantine. Upon separation of employment, CICC does not pay for any unused sick days. Full-time employees accrue sick leave at four (4) hours per pay period. Sick accrual is prorated for part-time employees based on their actual hours worked.
